Beautiful bowl skiing, with many possible variations.

Need to Know

Beware of the potential for very large avalanches in this bowl.

Description

This is a classic 3000 foot descent of Mount Tallac. Approach using the Mount Tallac Northeast Bowl Ascent. After enjoying the views from the summit, then ski the big bowl right back down to your car. Or choose from many alternative chutes.

Good skiing can be found on powder days, but beware of avalanches, and great spring corn is also found here.
