Seeking backcountry partners near Denver

Hello!

I recently completed my Aiare Level 1 course on a hut trip and am searching for back country skiing partners. I have all of the gear (beacon, probe, shovel, slope meter, Avalung pack) and feel good about my skills so far with locating buried beacons. Denver is home for me, so it would be ideal that my partner would also be from the Denver metro area. I'm a 33 year old male who is in good shape and a strong skier. Look forward to hearing from you!

I am also looking for BC ski partners for the Front Range (I am in Golden).

Hey Pat and Jonathan. I am looking for partners, too. I took Avy 1 in January this year and have all the gear and have gone quite a few times. I would say I tour at a moderate pace (though I am noticing pace varies quite a bit from the people I have been out with). Are you more looking for really intense downhill or longer tours with some more casual skiing involved? I am the latter!

If any of you guys want some more partners let me know! I just took my AIARE 1 class and am looking for partners, not necessarily anything super intense, more meadow skipping and chill runs.

I'm in Denver and also looking for some people to join for BC adventures. I'm a newbie to BC, but am a very strong mountaineer and skiier. Understand the avalanche basics from intro classes, taking an AIARE class at the end of the month. Have all the necessary equipment. Email me at iain@shakenbaker.com.

I will be in the Denver area April 2 - April 4. I am taking the AIARE level 1 the weekend before. I was planning to skin up Quandary Peak and ride down. Is anyone interested in this or something similar?

Guys, I'm on a road trip and visiting CO for the first time. I was planning on being around Boulder area 3/26 and 3/27 and then around Frisco/Vail 3/28 through 3/30, but I can be pretty flexible and move around if needed. Longtime mountaineer and decent skiier I'm not really looking for any intense downhill skiing but more for some longer tours and hopefully get to know the mountains of the area with some local people.

Let me know if any of you would be down to get out together

A non,

I'm taking the AIARE at Colorado Mountain School from 3/30 to 4/1 if that's the one you're going to.

Would love to skin up Quandary between April 2 and April 4 - I have that time off.

Hey all,
Looking for partners in the backcountry tomorrow for Berthoud or Jones area, looks like it's gonna be good.  Lots of experience and all necessary gear.
Cheers,
Nick

This Friday April 26th!

Anyone up for a tour within 2hrs of Denver?  I was thinking Dragontail couloir, Taylor glacier but would be open to other possibilities.  I am a split boarder, AIARE 1 cert, and need to get up and out.

New season with a good start to the snow pack, and I am in need of partners. I'll ski weekdays and weekends. PM me.

Hey Jon, anyone else. I'll be in town Dec 21-29. Have AIARE L1, avi rescue gear. Not much experience. Looking for objectives, not set on anything yet. Let's get out there!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
