Howdy! I'm new-ish to the Kirkland area and also looking for backcountry friends. I have my own AT gear, and used to go touring regularly in Sun Valley when I lived there.  I have spare gear if anyone needs to borrow something. I also have an IKON Pass.

Hi, I'm totally new to the idea of backcountry snowboarding but after trying to lug a standard snowboard part way up mt st helens and with all the hills in the immediate area closed I'm thinking more about trying it out. Been looking for something simple in the snoqualmie area but I don't know anyone else that might be interested. I'm not sure where else to find routes if not buying a guidebook online, and I'm still reading about snow study and avalanche safety gear.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
