In order to keep safety as a first priority, I think Powder Project should add a slope-angle map to the layer options as well as shading in the ski areas so skiers know exactly where the avalanche mitigation ends and full backcountry begins. Ski area boundary lines would be especially helpful in the Wasatch Front where there are several backcountry trails connecting different resorts. Slope angle maps in my opinion are a must to keep skiers safe in the backcountry. If Powder Project wants to encourage people to get out and ski then they have to do the best they can to inform these skiers so they can make good judgements. I currently use the slope angle map provided by 14ers.com but you must be a member to access their map.
Comment if you think theses changes would make travel in the backcountry safer for everyone using this app.
