I'll be out skiing at and around JHMR with some friends in February. Planning on skiing Cody Peak area and doing some low angle touring with my wife. Would love to tackle a more committing objective with the right partner(s). Particularly interested in Mt. Moran, Middle Teton or Buck if anyone is interested. Expert skier with experience in alpine/backcountry enviroments. Reasonable avy training (AIARE 1) but no firsthand knowledge of the area. Let me know!

I am familiar with the area, but you might be better off to hire a professional guide with those objectives.  Moran is a multiday objective and the others will require a significant amount of miles depending on where the road ends.  I would get familiar with those areas before you attempt those objectives .

Thanks for the reply Jay. Any suggestions for some lesser ascents in the area? 25 short seems pretty straightforward?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
